La Petite Truffe is a charming and beautifully decorated house at the heart of Sainte Alvère, a quaint market village renowned for its truffles in the Perigord Noir, Dordogne.

Ideal for two this tasteful home spread over four floors boasts an ensuite bedroom and sitting room on the top floors, and a well-equipped kitchen and a further bathroom on the lower floors. There's also a sheltered terrace at street level perfect for a morning coffee and a pastry from one of the several boulangeries/patisseries nearby or you may fancy a cup and a catch up on the local gossip at the bustling tabac just across the road.

Market day is Monday throughout the year where you can stock up on basket loads of delicious artisan cheeses, locally grown fruit and vegetables, fresh bread and of course great French wine. In July and August the Village takes on a more festival feel with live music on Friday nights and visiting food stalls. And of course the famous Truffle Monday Market draws the winter crowds from far and wide during November to February.
